Description

Throwback Thursdays are free hands-on history programs for children and their families on Thursday mornings this summer (May 30 - August 8) 10:00 a.m. -11:30 a.m. Program topics will vary each week. Recommended for ages 5 & up, but younger children are welcome as well. Reservations recommended. Call 314-842-1867 x230.

July 18: Design Your Own Campaign Poster

Ulysses Grant served as the 18th President of the United States. He was a popular leader and served two terms in the White House. Today we’ll invite visitors to pretend they are running for President and create a poster including a self-portrait and two or three short position statements. This can be done using poster board and/or construction paper.
