The park has commissioned three new pieces for string quartet to be composed by three past artist-in-residence participants, each sharing their own island inspiration. Dvorak’s String Quartet #12, “The American” will also be performed. This evening of music  will be feature the Isle Royale String Quartet led by park ranger Christopher M. Amidon.
