Paddle Party on the East Branch Penobscot River
Come paddle on the East Branch Penobscot River! Rangers will lead a two-hour interpretive canoe program starting at the Lunksoos Boat Launch. Learn about the history and ecology of the area as you enjoy time on the water!
Be sure to bring water, sun and bug protection, and shoes that you're okay with being wet and a little muddy. Stepping in and out of the boats will involve stepping into shallow water, so choose pants that you can roll up, or are okay with being wet. Some participants will be seated in the middle of the canoes, which do not have raised seats. If you aren't physically able to sit on the floor of the canoe, please let us know when you register.
Canoes, paddles, and life jackets will be provided.
Registration is required. To register, send a message with your name and number of participants: e-mail us. Registration will be first come, first served. Registration is limited to 12 participants with 3 people per canoe.
