Plein-air Painting Demonstrations - Sunrise | South Rim Village | Grand Canyon Celebration of Art
Between 6:00 and 10:00 am, participating artists will take part in “Sunrise Painting” along the South Rim, between Mather Point and Bright Angel Trailhead, where visitors will have the opportunity to watch the artists interpret the ever-shifting light and shadow, amazing landforms, and vibrant colors of sunrise at Grand Canyon. This event is open to the public.
While observing the artists please respect their personal space.

A schedule of artist locations on a given day will be available at Verkamp's Visitor Center, and Kolb Studio, in the Village Historic District.

Location
Kolb Studio is located in the Historic District of Grand Canyon Village, just west of Bright Angel Lodge, and near Bright Angel Trailhead. The historic, sprawling, 5-story and 23-room Kolb Studio is perched right on the rim of Grand Canyon.
