Join National Park Service Naturalist Jerry Hightower for a program of common mammals of the Chattahoochee River Corridor and a beautiful spring evening with the stars overhead. Discover new facts about the wildlife of the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area with the evening’s program on the common mammals of the Chattahoochee River Corridor featuring skins & skulls. Receive a complimentary Chattahoochee River Naturalist Journal with wildlife lists and paw prints. Join us and enjoy the stars and planets, the ambiance, and the nighttime beauty of the Chattahoochee. You are welcome to come early and bring a picnic dinner. Walk the Three Forks Creek Loop Trail and check out the interesting mammal facts posted on signs along the way.
Dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes suitable for walking on a forest trail. Dress in layers so that you can adjust to changes in the temperature and activity level. A flashlight is a good idea. Bring water and you might include snacks
