Nature Journaling in the Park
There is wonder, intrigue, and insight around every corner if we know how to look and give ourselves time to observe. Nature journaling is a way to connect to the wide and wondrous world around us, as well as a way to improve our skills as naturalists. Join Ranger J. Woerner to learn and practice the unique art and science of nature journaling and discover a new way to explore the park. Park at the Rio Grande Village amphitheater and follow signs to meet at the Rio Grande Village Nature Trail. 1/3-mile walk. Bring a notebook and pencil if you have them, materials will be supplied. 1 hour.

Location
The Rio Grande Nature Trail is located on the back side of the Rio Grande Village Campsite. Be sure to leave yourself 5 to 10 minutes to walk from the parking lot to the trailhead.
