Description

Back for its 6th year, A Dickens Experience starts on the evening of Friday, Dec. 13 with Fezziwig's Ball, a 19th century ball with music from the Susquehanna Travellers and Dance Master and assistants from the Civil War Dance Foundation.

The event continues the next morning, starting at 10 am with costumed characters strolling through town, performances of "A Christmas Carol" by the Reedy Point Players at 11:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., local vendors and wreaths made by the Arasapha Garden Club for sale on the Green, and Victorian Teas at 11 a.m., 1:30 p.m., & 3:30 p.m. in the New Castle Visitor Center at The Arsenal.

The Amstel and Dutch House Museums will also be open on Saturday as a part of the Spirit of Christmas Celebration.
