Description
Join us for a special 1-hour conversation with Quinn Gilly, a Park Ranger at Springfield 1908 Race Riot National Monument. You are welcome to participate in our discussion of what a National Monument is. We will also explore the Monument's purpose as part of a community-driven effort to tell the 1908 story and its early development.
Don't miss this unique opportunity to learn about a new National Park site just beginning its journey!
Meet at the Lincoln Home National Historic Site visitor center, inside Theater 1. If navigating by GPS, use this address: 426 South 7th Street, Springfield, Illinois. Paid parking is available at the visitor center.
