History Adventures

History Adventures invites families and young adventurers to gather at the Memorial Building at Abraham Lincoln Birthplace National Historical Park for a children's History Adventure event! Each program lasts approximately 30 minutes and features an interactive, hands-on experience that brings history to life through exploration, storytelling, and activities designed for young learners. Step back in time and embark on an exciting historical adventure!

 

Participants might try pioneer chores, explore historical tools and artifacts, nature hikes, and hear stories about real people and events from history. This program is designed to make history fun, memorable, and age-appropriate while promoting curiosity, teamwork and a deeper appreciation for the lives and experiences of those who came before us.
