Description
The tall ship LYNX is in Annapolis, MD for a two-week stay at City Dock, offering deck tours.
Organized by the Annapolis Waterfront & Sailing Center, the modern American topsail schooner will be docked at the end of Prince George Street through May 24.
The LYNX is a reproduction War of 1812 privateer schooner. The orginial LYNX was built by Thomas Kemp in 1812 in Fells Point (Baltimore, MD). Privateers were private vessels licensed by the U.S. government to attack British merchant ships during the War.
LYNX will be offering deck tours Tuesday through Sunday 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., except on Saturdays when the times will be 12:30 pm to 3:00 pm.
