Please note that there will not be Ranger guided tours of the Farm Home on Saturday August 3 and Saturday August 10, 2024.

Meet a Ranger at the Truman Farm!

National Park Service staff will be available at the Truman Farm on Fridays and Saturdays, 9AM to 4PM, between May 3, 2024, and August 17, 2024.

Guided tours of the Farm Home are limited to six persons, and are first come, first served.

The Farm Home is closed between 12-1 so Rangers and Volunteers can have a lunch break.

We cannot accept reservations for tours at this time, and schedule is subject to change because of staffing issues or weather or safety reasons.

Please note that the Truman Farm Home, a late 19th century structure, has steps inside, particularly to the bedrooms of Mary Jane Truman and Grandmother Young.

There is a portable toilet on site. Restaurants and convenience stores surround the Truman Farm grounds.

A free cell phone tour is available. When exploring the grounds, please protect yourself with tick protection.
