Kente Cloth Weaving and Yarn Crafts
Come by the mill for a cozy day of yarn crafting. Chapuchi Bobbo Ahiagble, an expert weaver originally from Ghana, will demonstrate traditional Kente cloth weaving and share the fabric’s fascinating history and stories. He’ll also show visitors of all ages how to wind a bobbin and use a cardboard loom. And we’ll have other simple, hands-on yarn crafts to try. This workshop is free, and all ages are welcome!
