Fur Trade Festival

Come join us with the Northwest Fur Trade Historians for this FREE family-fun event. 

Take a step back in time, into our living history encampment to learn about the Fur Trade and what life looked like in this area almost 200 years ago! Enjoy how traders lived, trapped, hunted, dressed, and communicated in the 1800s. Talk about a blast from the past!

Living history demonstrations include:
• Fort Colvile history
• Women’s history
• Sign talk and language
• Animal trapping
• Trading items
• Reenactments

Kettle Falls Historical Center will be closed for the event, but the event will be around their building. Portable toilets and parking are available.
