Description
People survived here long before there were grocery stores, cars and coolers… and certainly long before trucks and container ships transported food and supplies from all around the planet! How did they do it? On this short 0.3 mi walk through what appears to be a stark land, we’ll explore some of the resources people used to live off the land in The Big Bend.
Meet at the Window View Trailhead in the Chisos Basin. The walk is on a sidewalk and is about 1/3 mile roundtrip. The Window View Trail is wheelchair accessible.
