Two free events on Astronomy in one night! How lucky can you get?  And its the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 manned landing on the moon.

1st - Join NASA Solar System Ambassador Lisa Pelletier-Harman as we take a look at the plans for taking us from the Moon to Mars. This 45-minute presentation will begin at 8:00 pm in the Harkers Island Visitor Center theater. This program will be presented regardless of the weather.

2nd -- Join us on the front lawn of the Harkers Island Visitor Center of Cape Lookout National Seashore at 9:00 pm for star gazing and planet viewing through the telescopes of the Crystal Coast Stargazers. Dress for the weather and bring mosquito repellent (in case). Flashlights should have a red lens to protect your night vision. Have a telescope? Bring it along and join us. This is a clear weather event.
