Author Talk and Book Signing with Tim Todd on "A Great Moral and Social Force: A History of Black Banks"
Come hear Tim Todd, executive writer and historian for the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City, talk about his latest book, A Great Moral and Social Force: A History of Black Banks (2022). In his book, Todd explores the dynamic histories of Black-owned banks in five American cities - including Richmond, Virginia - highlighting the banks' unique roles as promoters of public service and catalysts for social justice. Following the talk, Todd will be available to sign copies of his book which will be provided to attendees free of charge.
