This Labor Day weekend (Saturday, Sunday, & Monday, September 3 - 5) at Muhlenberg’s Brigade (Stop #2), a park ranger will don 18th century clothing and perform a program about the lives of the soldiers in camp, concluding with the firing of a black powder salute.

Programs begin at 11:15, 1:15, and 3:15 each day, and last approximately 15 minutes.

On Saturday and Sunday only, rangers will also provide continual living history programming at Muhlenberg’s Brigade between the firing demonstrations, from 10 AM to 4 PM. Come and learn about the daily work, struggles, and training the soldiers experienced during their encampment 245 years ago.

Programming is weather-dependent. Schedule subject to change. Inquire at the visitor center for more details.

Please Note:
Musket fire may be loud! People with sensitive hearing, hearing aids, children, or pets should
