Description
Have you ever wondered what a ranger looks at when they go for a walk in the woods? You’re invited to come with us! Join us on a casual guided hike to learn about Muir Woods and its surrounding area. We’ll be chatting about the plants, animals, and fungi native to this ecosystem, so come prepared with questions.
In the meantime, here’s what to know:
- No pets allowed in the forest & participants must be over the age of 12, please. All those under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
- This event will happen rain or shine, so bring layers, sun protection, and water. Pack a lunch to enjoy at Camp Eastwood.
- Must be able to walk briskly up a steep hill & over uneven surfaces.
- Registration for this event is required. Parking reservations are required and must be made in advance at GoMuirWoods.com. Entrance fees are also required and can be made during the same transaction. Note: park passes cover entrance fees for up to 4 adults, but parking reservations are required for all visitors.
- Sign-ups will be capped at 30 participants and chosen on a first come first serve basis.
- A program confirmation email will be sent soon after sign-ups fulfill the 30 participants limit. Sign-ups that did not make the 30-participant cut will be put on a waitlist.
