Description
Description: Join the National Park Service for a walk through a mature oak-hickory forest, mesic ravine forest, and ridge top xeric forest within the Sope Creek Corridor. This is an area with a rich abundance and diversity of plant life. We will look for summer wildflowers, ferns, and shrubs. Learn about the uses of plants along the trail as medicine, dyes, and more. Wildlife signs are sometimes quite abundant. Look at the natural world through the eyes of a naturalist and discover what the forest might reveal.
