Description

Try snowshoeing through the beautiful Miller Woods. Snowshoeing needs a minimum of a 6-inch snowpack for safety. A limited number of snowshoes are available for loan, or you can bring your own. Inquire at the front desk or call 219-395-1824 to check for appropriate conditions. This program is sponsored by Friends of Indiana Dunes. For more information on how to join, visit dunefriends.org.

The Paul H Douglas Center for Environmental Education is located in the western portion of the national park at 100 North Lake Street, about one mile north of U.S. Highway 12.
