Verkamp's Visitor Center is located in an historic building at the end of the parking lot for El Tovar Hotel and the Hopi House. This area is located at the top of the hill, just above the Grand Canyon train depot in the Village Historic District.

Description

Artist Paint Out - September 16, 2022 - 3 pm to 6 pm - Verkamps's Visitor Center

Grand Canyon Celebration of Art

Artists will paint together along the rim together in the vacinity of Verkamps Visitor Center and El Tovar Hotel, for a special Paint Out event. This is a great time for visitors to ask questions and engage with artists while they are creating their beautiful plein air paintings.

All completed paintings will be available for purchase on-site, and Best of Show Awards will be presented.

Please practice physical distancing while observing the artists and respect their space. A schedule of artist locations on a given day should be available at the South Rim Visitor Center.
