Description
Join a park ranger for a deeper look into Black Canyon's natural or cultural history via a slide show and talk at the South Rim Campground Amphitheater. Approximately 45 minutes.
Bring a headlamp or flashlight -- Black Canyon is an International Dark Sky Park, so there are no lights at night! Consider bringing a warm layer and a cushion to sit on.
Amphitheater is a short walk from campsites; limited parking available. Wheelchairs will need assistance on the access route (steep with loose gravel).
Campground program topics and start times vary nightly--program start time will also be posted in the campground, or stop by the South Rim Visitor Center to find out the topic for the night.
