The original Highland (Cape Cod) Light was constructed in 1797, making it the first lighthouse on Cape Cod. The current 1857 tower recently underwent a major rehabilitation. 27 Highland Light Road, Truro. Operated by Eastern National. Adults $8; Seniors and military $7. Students and children $5. Must be 48” tall to climb the tower. Store hours, 9:30 am-5 pm Monday-Saturday. Visit www.highlandlighthouse.org for tour schedule and more information.
