In the 1930s, the radio was how most Americans received news, listened to music, and followed live sporting events. President Franklin Delano Roosevelt used the radio in a very effective way with his fireside chats, especially during times of crisis. Join two park rangers to explore how the radio shaped American life during the Great Depression and World War II.
