Description
Guilford Courthouse NMP is proud to host the "Ongoing Fight for Freedom: Stories of NC Black Veterans." The 80-minute performance features stories of Black North Carolinians who have fought for freedom for the last four centuries. The performance includes the stories of Black Patriots of the American Revolution.
The Ongoing Fight for Freedom is performed by Legacy Heirs Productions. The play's development was commissioned and funded by the NC Department of Natural and Cultural Resources' (DNCR) America 250 NC Initiative and produced by DNCR & Carolina K 12. This performance is made possible by the National Park Service.
