Description
Gung hay fat choy & chúc mừng năm mới (Tet) & Xin Nian Kuai Le 新年快乐!!! 🎉 Happy Lunar New Year and Year of the Rabbit! 🐇
You might see this year’s zodiac animal in the GGNRA since brush rabbits (Sylvilagus bachmani) are native to the parks.. Through February 5th, you can also go on a scavenger hunt to see all five of the rabbit statues that the @SFChineseChamberofCommerce has placed around San Francisco as part of the public art project, “Rabbit on Parade.”
According to the Chinese New Year Festival and Parade (@ChineseParade), “the Rabbit is considered the luckiest of the 12 zodiac animals and symbolizes longevity. Under the influence of the water element, this year’s Water Rabbit brings with it a year of peace and tranquility.”
