The Desert View Ampitheater is accessible and located on the walking path to the left of the Desert View Watchtower. While Desert View is under construction, the best way to navigate to the Ampitheater is to walk left from the Desert View Watchtower on the paved paths along the edge of the canyon.

Join us for a special flute performance with Aaron White, Diné (Navajo) Flute Player, Wednesday evening, July 26, at 6:45pm on the rim of Grand Canyon at the Desert View Amphitheater for a musical performance before sunset as part of the Grand Canyon Speaks program.
Listen to the sounds of Aaron's flute along the edge of Grand Canyon at the Desert View Watchtower Amphiteather.
Aaron is Diné (Navajo) tribal member and is a Grammy nominated musician for his talents playing the flute. For over two decades he has been creating flutes and finding new ways to play them. This passion and dedication for learning the flute can be heard in award winning films and documentaries, such as The Doe Boy, Secret of Lizard Woman, and True Whispers/Navajo Code Talkers Documentary
Join Park staff and Aaron for his special musical performance this Wednesday evening, July 26, to hear his talent with the flute for yourself at the Desert View Amphitheater at 6:45pm. Hope to see you there!
