Description
Phillip Whiteman, Jr. will be presenting Northern Cheyenne Traditional Stories and Music. This program is sponsored by Devils Tower Natural History Association.
Phillip is renowned for creating the Medicine Wheel Model and the Spirit Seeker Solution, merging ancestral teachings to connect horse, human and spirit. He is a traditional story teller, flute player and champion traditional grass dancer.
Phillip has served as cultural and language advisor to the movie Hostiles, starring Christian Bale and Adam Beach. He is two times Indian National Finals Rodeo World Champion in saddle bronc and was inducted into the North American Indigenous Athletics Hall of Fame in 2024.
