Annual Indigenous Art and Culture Festival 2026
Join Mesa Verde National Park for the Annual Indigenous Art and Culture Festival, a celebration of the culture, art, and history of the peoples of Mesa Verde! Events include an art market featuring over 30 artists with a wide variety of goods, cultural demonstrations, and traditional dances by the Lomayestewa Family of Hopi.
Saturday, July 4th
Location: Visitor and Research Center
Indigenous Art Market: 8:30 am - 4:00 pm
Traditional Hopi dances with the Lomayestewa family: 11:00 am, 12:00 pm, 2:00 pm, 3:00 pm
Sunday, July 5th
Location: Mesa Verde Museum (Cultural Demonstrations) and Chapin Mesa Ampitheater (Dances)
Cultural Demonstrations: 9:00 am, 9:30 am, 10:00 am, 10:30 am, 1:00 pm, 1:30 pm
Traditional Hopi dances with the Lomayestewa family: 11:00 am, 12:00 pm, 2:00 pm. 3:00 pm

This event is free to attend.
Location
Saturday's events, such as the art market and dances, will take place at the Visitor and Research Center, just off of Highway 160 near the park entrance. Sunday's events, such as Cultural Demonstrations and dances, will take place in the Mesa Verde Museum and the Chapin Mesa Ampitheater, a 20-mile drive into the park.
