Description
Join the National Park Service and Guilford Battleground Company at Guilford Courthouse NMP for Back to School Day. There will be hands-on children's activities at the Greene Monument Lawn. The Carolina Colonial Dancers will also demonstrate 18th century country dancing and allow guests to join them in learning a dance. Complete two activities and earn yourself a Junior Ranger badge!
General Nathanael Greene's birthday falls on August 7, so we will also highlight the career of our city's namesake. There will be a Greene reenactor at the Visitor Center, and a lecture on Greene's career will take place at 11:30 am.
