Description
Get out and explore YOUR park!
Join a park ranger for a moderate out-and-back hike of 2.5-miles total to enjoy the fall colors along the South Clear Creek Trail.
The hike begins at the Doc Howard parking lot, and will follow the South Clear trail to the Great Roof overlooking the Clear Creek gorge. Along the way, the trail provides opportunities to follow several short side trails to scenic overlooks to see the spectacular walls of the Clear Creek gorge and enjoy the vibrant colors of the fall foliage.
Please wear weather-appropriate clothing, sturdy shoes or boots, and bring water and snacks. Hikers are also welcom to bring well-behaved dogs on a leash.
