At 6:00 pm Thursday, November 29th join Park Guide Teri Jobe at the Crow-Luther Cultural Events Center (Plains Theater) for a free program on Sand Creek Massacre survivor George Bent. Born to a white trader and his Indian wife, George Bent’s life was spent balancing between two very different cultures. Circumstances not only placed George Bent in danger at Sand Creek but also empowered him to tell his people’s story in ways that many of his Cheyenne relatives could not.  The Crow-Luther Cultural Events Center is located at 1304 Maine St, Eads, CO 81036.
