Description

Look not with your eyes. Join Catalyst Conversations at Lot Lab, for a unique experience combining art, breath, and movement.

Look not with your eyes. Join Catalyst Conversations at the Boston Public Art Triennial at the Charlestown Navy Yard Lot Lab, for a unique experience combining art, breath, and movement. We’ll “see” sculptures with our bodies by incorporating movement to perceive in new ways. Tai-Chi Master Peter Wayne, PhD., Harvard Medical School professor and Founder of Tree of Life Tai-Chi Center will lead the group in a sunset tai-chi practice inspired by the artworks at the waterfront site. Explore the Triennial installation through the lens of science, mindfulness, and wellness.

Featuring Boston Public Art Triennial artworks Nomad 2 by Beatriz Cortez, and works by Boston artists Andy Li Today is the Day, Alison Croney Moses This Moment for Joy, and Evelyn Rydz Convergence: Porous Futures.

Free to attend but registration is required. Wear comfortable walking shoes and loose clothing. Refreshments available following the program.
