Frolics & Diversions: The Olympics

Join us for our annual Frolics and Diversions weekend at Great Falls Tavern! This year we will be celebrating the Olympics and the history of sports and leisure along C&O Canal. Participate in 19th-century games, play a round of mule shoes, try your hand at jousting, and test your skills at the visitor-favorite slow bike race. 

The Northern Virginia Dulcimer Group will be performing on Saturday between 10:00 am and 12:00 pm. Sunday is also a Fee-Free Day and entrance fees to the park will be waived!

The program will run 10:00 am to 3:00 pm on Saturday, August 3rd and Sunday, August 4th. 

Fees

Participation in all activities is free. An entrance fee is required to enter the park on Saturday, August 3rd. Sunday, August 4th is a Fee-Free Day.
