Description

See the park from twilight to night as park staff in period clothing light up the darkness one homemade candle at a time.

Walk the trial lit by candle lanterns from the farm parking lot to our candlelit cabin. Candles will keep the darkness at bay for a few evening hours.  Warm up by the fire in the cabin before venturing back out into the night.  Staff and volunteers will be in the cabin and in the farm yard to talk about pioneer life during Lincoln’s time in Indiana.

Come and celebrate the final days of fall and welcome in the cold winter months.  Our candlelight evenings are special nighttime event to experience what this time of year was like for pioneers in the early 1800s.
