Join us for a special event in collaboration with the Spartanburg County Public Library to celebrate National Reading Month and the March Into Reading program!
About the event:
There will be something for everyone with historic weapons demonstrations, ranger-led battlefield walks, librarian-led story times, bookmobile, and children's activities! Schedule of events:

About the March Into Reading Program:

The March Into Reading program includes a booklet and a specially designed patch! The booklet contains a suggested reading list for all ages compiled by librarians, bookmarks, and a certificate. Readers may earn a patch by reading three books from the SCPL. The books must be related to history, nature, wildlife, or outdoor recreation. Visitors may participate by downloading a program booklet online or by obtaining a booklet in-person at Cowpens National Battlefield and SCPL locations. More information to follow!
