Join artist-in-residence Rachel Black on Sunday, July 7, at 10:00 am for an introductory gesture drawing workshop!

Drawing is a meaningful way to slow down, look carefully and actively, and translate perception to the page. It’s a refreshing antidote to the “point and click” method of archiving our experiences. No previous drawing experience is necessary for folks to make expressive and meaningful sketches which are direct translations of how they see the world.

All supplies will be provided, and participants will take their drawings home after the workshop.

This event is free to attend.

Workshop will take place at the Ranger Station, located in the Cabin District approximately 4 miles down Valles Caldera's entrance road.
