Join us for an unforgettable hands-on experience at the Deltaville Maritime Museum as families come together to build their very own wooden rowing skiff—a true Deltaville tradition!
Over five exciting days, you’ll work side-by-side to construct a 14-foot Wright Skiff from a supplied kit and get it boat-ready for launch and racing by the end of the week.
🪚 What You’ll Do:
- 🚤 Build a wooden Wright Skiff from start to finish
- 🧰 Use cypress and fir construction with stainless steel fasteners
- 👨👩👧👦 Work together as a family team every day on-site
- 🛶 Launch and race your completed boat at the end of the week

Fees
$1500 for a 14’ Wright Skiff kit for the 2026 calendar year.
