As part of the commemoration activities for the 200th anniversary, the Quivira Chapter of the Santa Fe Trail Association encourages you to participate in Read Across America, March 1 – 5, 2021 and “Read Across the Santa Fe Trail” to help us commemorate this historic 200th anniversary! As part of the Santa Fe Trail 200th anniversary, the Quivira Chapter, funded in part by the McPherson County Community Foundation, Rice County Tourism and Great Bend CVB, has donated books on the Santa Fe Trail to public libraries in our three-county area.  Visit the public libraries in McPherson, Rice and Barton counties in Kansas or your own town and read about the Santa Fe Trail!
