Description
In the spring of 1918, the Germans conducted massive offensives in northern France to defeat the British and French and win the Great War. They frequently dismissed the untested American military, which was now only beginning to arrive in Europe. Despite suffering some small victories earlier in the year, the American Expeditionary Force had its eye on another goal: pushing the Germans back along the front. They planned to do this on a much larger scale, working closely with their allies. The ensuing battle would mark the beginning of the end of the war.
