Description
Learn the history of the Acadian people from their deportation from Nova Scotia in Canada to their settlement in south Louisiana through a 35-minute film. The Acadian Cultural Center is located at 501 Fisher Road in Lafayette.
Note that the center closes at noon on Saturdays, so film is shown only at 9:00 a.m., 10:00 a.m., and 11:00 a.m.
The center is closed on federal holidays and on Mardi Gras (Tuesday, February 28, in 2017).
