At 11:30, author and historian Davida Siwisa James will be discussing her book, "Hamilton Heights and Sugar Hill", and at 12:30, attendees will be invited to purchase the book and have it signed by the author.
Description
Join the park rangers at Hamilton Grange National Memorial in welcoming author and historian Davida Siwisa James to the namesake historic site of our neighborhood, Hamilton Heights. Intrigued by the historic fabric of this neighborhood from a young age, Davida Siwisa James undertook the endeavor to capture more than 400 years of history in her newest publication. Hamilton Heights, considered a part of Harlem, provides the setting for rich history that is worth telling for centuries to come.
