Please join us for National Public Lands Day and help us provide light cleaning and maintenance at Fort Moultrie!
Volunteers will receive a FEE FREE coupon, granting admission to participating National Parks and historic sites, courtesy of the National Environmental Education Foundation (limited coupons are available, please contact Ranger Shelby M. in advance to ensure your volunteer service spot is reserved).
Our 19th century fort is an iconic part of Charleston's history. Learn about the American Revolution, Civil War, World War 1 and 2 at this unique coastal site.
Projects include: Weeding, cleaning park waysides and informational signs, and cleaning up beach litter.
Supplies will be provided but we encourage you to bring your own work gloves, bug spray, and sunscreen. All ages are welcome- Children under the age of 15 will need to be accompanied by an adult.
