Carver Day Celebration!
The 78th annual Carver Day commemorates the life of George Washington Carver and the establishment of the National Monument in his honor on July 14, 1943. Activities include a special ranger program on the establish of the park at 11:45am. Guest musician Lem Sheppard (Blues, Jazz, Folk) will perform at 11am and 12:15pm. Ongoing Jr. Ranger Activities, guided tours (10am, 12pm, 2pm), special anniversary exhibits, food concession, and more. Mark your calendars for this fun event!

10:00 am Junior Ranger Activities (park grounds, 10am to 1pm)
10:00 am Guided Tour (Tour begins at the visitor center north porch.)
11:00 am Music by Lem Sheppard (tent)
11:45 am Program: Establishment of George Washington Carver NM (visitor center north porch)
