Remembering The Poor People's Campaign and Resurrection City

In the aftermath of the assassination of Martin Luther King, Jr. on April 4, 1968, the Poor People's Campaign and Resurrection City were without a leader. This campaign aimed to bring poor people from all ethnic groups together to demand that the government compose a plan to fix the poverty crisis in the United States. The campaign derailed when hundreds of people were arrested.
