The program will last 30 minutes, with a 15-minute read-aloud with the remainder of the time doing a story-related activity.
Description
The National Park Service, in collaboration with the Calais Free Library, will read a different book aloud for six-weeks consecutive Tuesdays. The first reading and activity day is June 17th and the last will be July 22nd.
The park ranger will read a different book each week.
This weeks is 'Anna's Table' which tells the story of a girl who gathers items from nature for a specialtable given to her by her aunt.
The program is designed for Kindergarten through third grade, though older are welcome.
