Prairie Acadian Cultural Center - Sewing Demonstration
Come check out one of the oldest handycrafts out there! In southern Louisiana fiber crafts like sewing, knitting, and weaving were fundamental to basic living for everyone.
Come ask questions, see what it's all about, and maybe get a chance to try it out yourself with rangers ready to help.
