Special tours will be offered four times during the day. Tours will be 30 minutes each and will be free and open to the public.
Description
Celebrate Veterans Day in an authentic War of 1812 fort! Park Rangers will be providing four special tours focusing on the history of Castle Clinton, the other New York Harbor fortifications, and those who served in them during the War of 1812. Tours will be offered four times throughout the day and will be free and open to the public.
Additionally, a special War of 1812 exhibit will be offered for a limited time in the Castle Clinton exhibit room. The exhibit will only be up during the week of Veterans Day, November 10th - 16th. Check it out while you can!
