First Lady Films - Betty Ford
“I have an independent streak. You know, it's kind of hard to tell a independent woman what to do.”
- Betty Ford
Join us for a screening of "Betty Ford.” This PBS documentary shows the true independent nature of former FIrst Lady Betty Ford. Betty Ford was passionate about speaking up for issues she believed in, including: the equal rights amendment, abortion access, and breast cancer awareness. After the film, will discuss Mrs. Ford and other outspoken First Ladies.
The film and discussion will take place in the lower level of the Education Center (205 Market Avenue South, 44702). There is free parking behind the Saxton House and in a gated lot one block south of the Education Center.
