  • Free

Join a park ranger for a slide program and learn how the Haitian Revolution impacted Philadelphia by challenging the ideals of liberty and equality on which the United States was founded.  The Haitian Revolution took place just a few years after the American Revolution when a slave rebellion in the French colony of Saint-Domingue led to another independent nation,  Haiti.
